How We Use Order Information:
We use the information you provide when placing an order to prepare the inspection report template. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order.

Information that appears on the inspection report template will be transferred to the final inspection report and could include some or all of the following:
Unless otherwise instructed, a copy of the inspection report and all information contained therein will be delivered to each of the respective parties listed on the order form with the exception of the Title Company. Where escrow billing is required, the Title Company will receive an invoice that lists the Paying Client’s name, the inspected property address, escrow number and fee.
We use email addresses to deliver reports, conduct correspondence and answer the email we receive. With our clients permission we may also use an email address or cell phone number to solicit for a review. This is conducted through a paid, third party company called Broadly.com. Email addresses are otherwise not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties except where they appear on the inspection report. Inspection reports are only delivered to the client, their respective agent and the sellers respective agent unless the client requests the report not be sent to any other person(s) bedsides themselves.
It is recognized that the California Realtors Association (CAR) CALIFORNIA RESIDENTIAL PURCHASE AGREEMENT AND JOINT ESCROW INSTRUCTIONS, paragraph 12D instructs that the seller of a property is entitled to a copy of the inspection report, where private information can be transferred to outside parties.
It is also recognized that copies of the report may be provided to parties not directly involved in the transaction by persons who have access to the report as a result of the real estate transaction. Rick Daniel Home Inspections specifically advises:

We do retain client phone numbers and email addresses for the purpose of communication that may not be specifically related to the inspection report but could be valued as relevant to real estate ownership, maintenance, care and improved value for the property, and, as specified above, for the solicitation of a review.
We may use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our website and to share with advertisers or search engines. For example, we may tell an advertiser or search engine that X number of individuals visited a certain area on our website, or that Y number of men and Z number of women filled out our registration form, but we would not disclose anything that could be used to identify those individuals.
